We have both retired and will move to Bastrop in September, hopefully missing the hottest months of the summer. Just after the closing, we stayed in the house for about a week, sleeping on sleeping bags, etc. Randy Weisner mentioned that you were on the AP and I checked out your blog. We're moving from Brooklyn, NY where we have lived for 27 years now so relocating to TX will be a big deal for us. We have kids and grandkids in Spring, TX, about 2-1/2 hours away. Anyway, I wanted to say hello, taking advantage of our electronic communication systems. Hope all is well with you and we look forward to meeting you after your trek.
