Today’s poem is a turning of the corner from the struggling. I found that place where I waited for the creative energy to come to me and I trusted it word by word. I also made a commitment to myself that I would try harder, sacrifice more, for my creative life. I decided to do more to foster an environment where my creative being can excel. It all sounds very simple and easy but it will take everything I have to make it through these days. There is a force within me that will.

    P30X Day 11

Wow. What a magnificent poem. This poem feels like it is only the beginning of a much longer poem. It sounds like the first paragraph of a story-poem. I think with this poem you visualized a vehicle for moving forward in your creative life. The train in your poem is standing still at the station from which you depart, and it is about to start moving towards the station that is your life dream: to be reunited with the life of a full time artist, making art that is true to your style. The tracks will bring you there. Your road nevertheless demands strenuous effort and practice to accomplish your goal. Starting the train and keeping it rolling is hard work, but you proved not to shy away from hard work. Seek your goal diligently. May you find happiness where you go.
