A Poem A Day: April 20, 2015 The Lost Earring by Stephanie Strange

A Poem A Day: April 20, 2015
The Lost Earring by Stephanie Strange

Today’s poem is The Lost Earring. It was written first and titled after in an attempt to disguise the deeper subject. It was typed on A Remington Quiet-Riter with the miracle tab. I purchased it from an antique store in San Antonio, Texas. This typewriter is nick named ‘I love you’ as it was my first typewriter that I chose and bought. I spent a great deal of care and time in selecting it and the feeling of bringing it home in its portable case was that I really loved this little machine. I walked home like a very important business woman with a full briefcase only noticing the weight every now and then. I hope you enjoy this poem. I don’t want to say too much about it because there is so much left to interpretation and I think it is nice that way.

You can find the Poem A Day in my blog under Poem a Day: April 2015 or on my fan page.
