IEEI, April 25, 2016

It is not easy to have a full day that is focused on everything but poetry and then to vice out the time at the end of the day to be creative. However, a commitment is a commitment and I will do what I don’t feel like doing, like I don’t think I can do, what my mind is too tired to do, in order to fulfill my commitment to this 30 Poems in 30 Days Challenge. Sometimes its in these moments that the great things happen. That is the reward. Sometimes it isn’t, but that’s not to say it is a failure. I see the poetry on days like these just as much a success because it is the discipline that holds up the pillars to the house where poetry can live and I just posted one more pillar. The behind-the-scenes of the struggle and the mishaps; the trials the errors are the moments to embrace with pride, without them, no greatness will ever be realized.

    P30X Day 25

IEEI is the first poem of your challenge that seems to be beyond my ability to understand, unless it is about the word imperceptive that is itself hard to read. I guess with your 25th poem, maybe there is no deeper meaning to find other than that. Maybe this poem is made with another state of mind, and so maybe it has no bones to show under my x-ray. In any case, my x-ray machine didn’t find them.
It is very understandable. It is only logical that, in your Poetry Challenge, one of your poems at least shows no deeper meaning. Also considering the struggle it has been for you to write every day. But even if is wasn’t a struggle, and you would have a lot of time to write and be in the right mind to come up with ideas, even then it is hard to write a meaningful poem for 30 days in a row.
IEEI for your 25th poem, a very modest meaning to go with it, or otherwise a deeper meaning beyond my scope. In that case I can use some help.

For me, IEEI stands for acceptance. And when I think in the direction of acceptance, the whole thought creates room in my mind and in my emotion. After acceptance I notice how beautiful this poem actually is and how fantastic it is that you came up with yet another poem, different than the others both in subject and in style. When acceptance does its good work in my brain, a whole new world will open, with possibilities that I couldn’t see before. Sometimes acceptance is hard though.

    Looking forward to tomorrows poem.
