A Poem A Day: April 27, 2015
Dark Mountain by Stephanie Strange

Some days the idea for a poem comes much sooner than the poem. Like today when the thought of universal laws but found myself rocking back and forth in wondering what to say. I began the typing of the poem in metaphor of how I would approach a mountain. I climbed to the top and climbed to the top over again. Just like your body gives you one more step into your journey, the words took me one by one further on the journey with this poem until I had created the mountain that I climbed.

I really appreciate the ambiance of this poem. It walks when it is not sure how to say what to say. It does not stop. It continues to move and that is the way to approach a mountain, metaphorically or physically.
